Medieval Castle
    MEDIEVAL CASTLE NEAR ROME

  • Five Hundred years of history come alive in the halls and gardens of this castle. Close to Rome, on the shores of the Lake Bracciano, stands this stunning property...a perfect example of a medieval castle. Spectacular costume events are still organized in its ancient halls. Out of a fairy-tale, in a small hill town overlooking Lake Bracciano, the castle rises majestically enjoying incomparable views of all of the Lazio valley.
  • This imposing but harmonious fortified structure is not only an excellent example of military architecture, but on the inside it also contains a series of highly refined elegant living rooms.
Thanks to these features, the halls and the castle gardens, this Roman castle has become the ideal setting for fashionable events like weddings. There are various gardens, courtyards and turrets. The property is very large and impeccably kept.
There are many different halls for all size groups and everything is furnished with original antiques. The ceilings and frescoes are a delight to the eyes and in the evening, with candles and torches the setting is magical.
  • Receptions are possible for 50 to 1,400 people. We recommend at least 100 as this is a large structure.
There are at least a dozen different halls and a large secret garden overlooking an incredible view. It also includes terraces and a courtyard that can all be lit by torches. Fireworks are also possible.

The castle can accommodate large groups on the inside and outside areas.
  • Symbolic, and Protestant ceremonies are celebrated here. Civil ceremonies can take place in nearby Bracciano or in Rome. Catholic ceremonies are possible at nearby churches or in Rome.
  • Having once entertained Princes and Popes, now the castle is open to welcome you and your guests. Recent visitors to the castle include J.J. Kennedy, Carolyn Bessette an Madeleine Albright.
